5 common mistakes when using anabolic steroids

Any bodybuilder seriously considering the use of steroids should first deal with the subject matter in the best possible way. It is extremely important to avoid dangerous steroids and, at the same time, to distinguish between steroids that can be used during the definition phase and which are more suitable for mass production.

It should also be clear how anabolic steroids are properly dosed and the advantages and disadvantages of an oral application of steroids against an injection. Last but not least, it is important to understand how several anabolic steroids can be staked short notice without increasing the risk of unwanted side effects and simultaneously promoting the build-up of fat-free muscle tissue.

Of the many errors which are often made in the use of anabolic steroids, the most frequent ones are to be shown here.

  1. High doses

The most common problem with the use of steroids is the exaggerated high dosage thereof. Steroids are not only dangerous in high doses but are also proven to be completely ineffective. High doses produce an exorbitantly high load on the liver and kidneys which can be impaired both in their function and in the long term.

  1. Low doses

The opposite of the overdosing problem is the problem of low doses. If the prescribed or recommended dose of a steroid is not delivered over the correct period, it cannot develop its effect. Therefore, many bodybuilders have the idea to take several different types of steroids at the same time. As a result, the dosage of each individual steroid within the stack can be reduced and thus also risks and side effects can be counteracted.

  1. Endless doses

Often, athletes ignore the fact that steroids should not be consumed for more than 8 to 12 weeks without interruption, and use them over a period of 6 months, a year, or even longer. However, this practice has proved to be ineffective and dangerous in practice. The permanent use of steroids affects both the liver and kidneys. This load is usually not observed until lasting damage occurs.

  1. Incorrect cycling

Steroids are most effective and safest when properly staked. Investigations have shown that the initial increase in the positive nitrogen balance can only be continued if the dosage of the corresponding steroid continues to rise - usually, the nitrogen balance falls back to the normal level after 6 to 8 weeks at the latest. It can be concluded that a steroid cycle contains an increasing dosage and should provide for a change to other steroids after 8 weeks at the latest.

  1. Poor nutrition

Many of them do not care about nutritional attention and thus ensure that the positive effects of steroid use are minimized - and the unwanted side effects are all the more important. Anabolic steroids are always the most effective when combined with a calorie- and protein-rich diet. Only a single steroidio is able to achieve anabolic effects even with a calorie-reduced diet. The calorie intake should consist of 60% complex carbohydrates, 20% protein and 20% fat. In order to achieve this, supplements mayor should also be used.
